Nouvelle Vague - Love Will Tear Us Apart |
] |
For some reason, I went to bed at 4:30am and then got up at 9:30 on a Saturday. Well ... the phone rang, and I can't justify going back to bed.
There were cockroaches in the sink. I washed them down.

I made perfect alfredo sauce for the first time ever, and no one was here to taste. I also got a credit card today.
I still have no OSAP so I had to borrow change for the bus to school.

My first night with internet in Toronto. And, voila! the triple hue site is lauched. I will warn you that it is very rough and so on... but go see for yourself. It was getting to be rediculous that we had no site of our own. Hopefully this doesn't scare people away. www.triplehue.com

[6.30.06 @ 5:04 pm] |
The Hill site has been launched: Hilltheband.com Our first website... but Andrew did the whole thing. I had no time. I think it turned out well for the first one. (Warning: music plays... so turn down your speakers)

So. I don't think I ever posted the final Hill CD cover (which is now in print). I just received a copy when Andrew was in town on Monday, and I have to say I'm really happy with how it turned out. Andrew's not happy with the inside, but that was his area and i figure no ones sees it until they've already bought it. There's only been a thousand printed thus far... most were given away, and when it goes into reprint we are going to fix it up a little.
that's pretty much it... we were only allowed to use red white and black for the whole thing...so not surprising.
It's amazing how many jobs Andrew and I have got after only one year of our program. Most are from referals of course. We have five jobs in the works right now, but we Still don't have our website up. Here it is: www.triplehue.com I'm pretty excited about working from home instead of Mr. Sub, although it's hard to get out of bed.

I'm going downtown to do some Miksang photography for tomorrow's class. I hope this haze clears up a bit. When I woke up at 7, my photography day looked grey and rainy, but it looks a little better now. Of course, seeing the grey day at 7, I went back to bed until now. I've had my window open since yesterday to try and let the heat out of this room.
School's been extended until the 28th, did I say this already? And I'm thinking of university again.

First day back tomorrow, first day in 4 weeks now. All of my project due dates are very compressed, it will be hectic from now on. But, school is over in three weeks and I don't think I have any exams. That is something to look forward to. In my web design class, for bascially every project, he wants a web site about sports or electronics. Anyone who looks at my web design portfolio is going to think I am wierd. I don't love the Women's Olympic Hockey team, but yes, I did just make a web site about them. And what next? A Playstation 2 games website! Oh, the excitement continues! I haven't looked at my final project specs yet, and i'm kind of afraid to now.

| Jenny Lewis |
[3.17.06 @ 9:19 pm] |
Yesterday, I was surprised to go see Jenny Lewis and the Watson Twins. I think it was my favourite concert yet. I sat up on the balcony and Lisa and I picked out people in the crowd below, who looked like other people. Haley called me straight-edge kid because I was so special that I got an X on both hands. Jonathon Rice was grumpy, but I like him.
